What are keydowns ??
I think this explains it best :
A small number of high-power junkies hold tournaments they call,"Keydowns."
CB enthusiasts that run in the tens of thousands of watts ofpower - illegally of course - meet in communities
all over this nation to challenge each other.
There are many differant classes and the winner is capable of transmitting with the greatest amount of radio frequency energy than all of the other competitors.
To achieve power levels like this automobiles must be outfitted with multiple
batteries, several heavy duty alternators, and antennas capable of handling thousands of watts of power.
You can hear many of these clowns on CB channel 6( see definition--below ). They tend to
congregate on channel 6 so they can impress each other with their signal strength as they talk across great distances.
This extreme unlawful activity is the CB pirate's way of legitimizing his or
her unlawful behavior.( Most of the above was wrote by Doug Smith-CB WEB Magazine-10-21-2001)

Definition of the SuperBowl --- Channel 6 :
If there are 10,000 CB'er's on the SuperBowl---
then out of 10,000 only 1,000 can be heard some of the times---
and out of 10,000 only 100 can be heard most of the times---
and out of that 10,000 there are probably only 10
of the most well known
guys that talk on the SuperBowl and can almost talk skip
when they want----
This is a great example why the bowl is not for the weak.

CB Radio Interference Complaint?
In 2000, the President signed into law a bill modifying Section 302 of the
Communications Act of 1934 (47 U.S.C. 302 a) authorizing local political jurisdictions
to enact ordinances allowing police to investigate illegal CB radio stations.
Such stations often cause interference to television, radio, and telephone communication.
Many local governments have chosen not to participate in this program.
Because of this law, you may have been referred by the FCC Call Center to your local police and found no help with your complaint.
Police agencies were NOT required to take on this responsibility and the FCC does not,
in our opinion, go out of its way to help you identify whether or not an illegal
power amplifier might be the proximate cause of your interference complaint.
You do have the right to file a complaint with the FCC's Enforcement Bureau regardless
of what you are told at the FCC's 800 Consumer number.
The FCC does not investigate claims of radio and television interference from two-way radios but they will eventually
investigate complaints of the illegal use of linear amplifiers by CB stations.
It is a verylow-priority complaint but remember they do get around to these.

"The copyright issue is a sticky one for Web site owners and their employees, particularly contractors.
Currently in the United States, there are no laws that specifically address copyright issues in the online world.
However, the U.S. courts have ruled that existing copyright laws governing the print world can be applied to the online world."
If by mistake, I've used someone's copyright material, notify me, and I'll remove it.
